2020 Here We Are. Now What?

Cardinals stand out against the stark whiteness of winter landscapes

2020 eh? Being Canadian, and living where it seems like there is snow on the ground for half of the year, I’m not that excited. It just means lots of shoveling for the next 2 or 3 months and freezing cold temperatures. It means high heating bills and low enthusiasm for the outside world. But I’m an old gal. My grandkids L.O.V.E. winter. Sliding, skating, snow days from school, snowball fights and hot chocolate by the warm fire and playing Super Mario while they get their toes warm. It’s all Good. Indeed.

Being a political addict, I’m following world news and shaking my head at the insanity of it all. The dollar is still falling, national debt is still climbing and the ineptitude of politicians run rampant as per the plan of the elites. The New World Order marches steadily forward and people flap their arms and their mouths in despair at what to do, what to do.

So I got to thinking, What would I do if I had the power to change the course our country seems hell bent upon. If I were given the authority for ONE year to make changes, what would I do.

Well, I have to laugh because if I’m being brutally honest with myself, I have to admit I’d become a bit of a tyrant…. to politicians, to lobbyists and to the elites, to undo the wickedness they’ve perpetrated on their citizens. I’d expose their corruption right out of the gate and let the chips fall where they may!

I would be worse than Trump ever hoped to be. Like Duterte of the Phillipines, the people would love me and the rich and powerful would hate me. Oh well, that’s the ideas of a secret king, and I’m not that. LOL I’d rather just grow a garden and have some chickens.

So, speaking of gardens and chickens, the plans for the tiny house are shaping up, but weirdly enough, I’m waiting for the local building center to put their windows on sale. I have a general idea of what I’d like but there is no way I’m paying full price for windows and doors. They HAVE to be dirt cheap. So, I’ll buy whatever is closest to what I envision, at the price I’m willing to pay. Once I have them I can finalize my tiny house plans!

I Love this tiny house.

Building starts in March. Maybe. Hopefully. We’ll see. 😛 Toodles for now! ~Callie
